Welcome to StoryMight! Before you start using the app, please read these Terms carefully. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. License to Use the App
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the app.
- Attempt to extract or access the app’s source code.
- Translate the app into other languages.
- Remove or tamper with any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
- Distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or lend the app to anyone else.
All rights not expressly granted to you remain reserved by us.
2. Intellectual Property
The app, including all text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, and software, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights, title, and interest belong to It Is My Experience, Inc.
3. Updates and Availability
We may update or change the app periodically to improve performance or enhance features. You agree to install any updates we provide.
We do not guarantee the app will always be available or work with every device or operating system version. We may also suspend or discontinue the app at any time without notice.
4. Your Responsibilities
To use the app safely and responsibly, you agree to:
- Keep your device secure and not jailbreak or root it.
- Maintain an active internet connection when required.
- Ensure your device stays charged.
- Only use the app in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or lend the app to anyone else.
If you’re not the owner of the device you’re using, you confirm you have permission from the bill payer.
5. Charges and Data Usage
The app itself is currently free to download and use. In the future we plan to charge for features and services. At that time we will clearly explain what you’ll be paying for before you’re billed.
The projected billing structure may look something like this: 1 hour video storage and 250 photos – $4.99 per month, 2.5 hours of video storage and 1000 photos – $6.99 per month, 10 hours of video storage and 3000 photos – 8.99 per month.
When you use the app, your mobile carrier’s data rates may apply, especially if you use the app outside your home country. You accept responsibility for any such charges, including roaming fees.
6. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. The StoryMight app collects and processes certain personal data you provide so we can deliver our services. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your information.
7. Disclaimers
We strive to keep the app up-to-date, secure, and reliable, but:
- Use of the app is at your own risk.
- The app and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- We do not guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app
- Our total liability to you for any claim related to the app will not exceed $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
9. Export Controls and Legal Compliance
You agree not to use or export the app in violation of U.S. export laws and regulations. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you are not:
- Located in any country subject to U.S. embargo.
- Listed on any U.S. government restricted parties list.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, excluding its conflict of laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in New York County, New York. If you live outside the United States, you may also have rights under the laws of your country.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, we’ll post the new version here. If the changes are significant, we’ll notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated Terms.

By downloading or using the app, these terms will automatically apply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app. You’re not allowed to copy or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way. You’re not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the app, and you also shouldn’t try to translate the app into other languages or make derivative versions. The app itself, and all the trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, still belong to It Is My Experience, Inc..
It Is My Experience, Inc. is committed to ensuring that the app is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the app or to charge for its services, at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for the app or its services without making it very clear to you exactly what you’re paying for.
The StoryMight app stores and processes personal data that you have provided to us, to provide our Service. It’s your responsibility to keep your phone and access to the app secure. We therefore recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your phone, which is the process of removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. It could make your phone vulnerable to malware/viruses/malicious programs, compromise your phone’s security features and it could mean that the StoryMight app won’t work properly or at all.
You should be aware that there are certain things that It Is My Experience, Inc. will not take responsibility for. Certain functions of the app will require the app to have an active internet connection. The connection can be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider, but It Is My Experience, Inc. cannot take responsibility for the app not working at full functionality if you don’t have access to Wi-Fi, and you don’t have any of your data allowance left.
If you’re using the app outside of an area with Wi-Fi, you should remember that the terms of the agreement with your mobile network provider will still apply. As a result, you may be charged by your mobile provider for the cost of data for the duration of the connection while accessing the app, or other third-party charges. In using the app, you’re accepting responsibility for any such charges, including roaming data charges if you use the app outside of your home territory (i.e. region or country) without turning off data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you’re using the app, please be aware that we assume that you have received permission from the bill payer for using the app.
Along the same lines, It Is My Experience, Inc. cannot always take responsibility for the way you use the app i.e. You need to make sure that your device stays charged – if it runs out of battery and you can’t turn it on to avail the Service, It Is My Experience, Inc. cannot accept responsibility.
With respect to It Is My Experience, Inc.’s responsibility for your use of the app, when you’re using the app, it’s important to bear in mind that although we endeavor to ensure that it is updated and correct at all times, we do rely on third parties to provide information to us so that we can make it available to you. It Is My Experience, Inc. accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, you experience as a result of relying wholly on this functionality of the app.
At some point, we may wish to update the app. The app is currently available on Android & iOS – the requirements for the both systems(and for any additional systems we decide to extend the availability of the app to) may change, and you’ll need to download the updates if you want to keep using the app. It Is My Experience, Inc. does not promise that it will always update the app so that it is relevant to you and/or works with the Android & iOS version that you have installed on your device. However, you promise to always accept updates to the application when offered to you, We may also wish to stop providing the app, and may terminate use of it at any time without giving notice of termination to you. Unless we tell you otherwise, upon any termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must stop using the app, and (if needed) delete it from your device.
Changes to This Terms and Conditions
We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page.
